Mother's Helper and salary

Working Hours: 

The schedule of a Mother's helper can vary depending on the family's needs and are to be determined at the beginning of employment.

The Mother's helper can be hired part-time or full-time, able to babysit occasionaly and follow the Family on holidays as long as it is agreed and discussed at the start.

Duties:

The duties can vary depending on the Family.

The Mother's Helper works alongside the mother, and gives her the extra hands needed to get through the day.

Child related duties includes

  • keeps the child active and social (organizing/attending playdates and parties). going out to the park for a walk or to the library or museums. 

  • child's laundry and belongings 

  • keeps the bedroom and playroom area safe,clean, tidy and organized.

  • keeps the child entertained and promotes his development through play. 

  • Mother's helper are not expected to do any heavy housework, family cooking or any other chores not related to the children.


Mother's Helper 's Salary:

The salary depends on whether the Mother's Helper is a live-in or a live-out, a part-time or a full-time.

It alsi depends on the age and experience.

Suggested salaries:

  • Live-in nanny: from 400euros onwards with 1 day off per week

  • Live-out nanny: from 8 to 12 euros per hour, or 400 euros to 500euros a week.


Mother's Helper has at least 3 years of experiences, certificates and/or diploma. Our Agency has checked her informations and credentiels.

It is important to discussed and agreed about salaries, holidays entitlement and schedule at the interview or as least before the first day of employment.
